Real estate prices in Türkiye increased by 82.8%

/ Official Turkish data revealed, on Wednesday, that housing unit prices increased by about 1.9 percent since last November, recording 1150.4 points.

Compared to the same month in 2022, the index recorded an increase of about 82.8 percent, according to data from the Central Bank of Turkey on the housing unit price index.

Looking at the developments in the housing price indices in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, it is clear that the index recorded an increase compared to the previous month by about 0.8 percent in Istanbul, 1.8 percent in Ankara and 2.8 percent in Izmir.

On an annual basis, the increase was 69.2 percent in Istanbul, 96.3 percent in Ankara and 76.9 percent in Izmir.

The price of a square meter in Turkey reached about 30,318 liras, while the price of a square meter in Istanbul reached 44,532 liras, in Ankara 23,291 liras, and in Izmir 35,465 liras.
