He Mexico City Congress approved the format for the sessions of swearing-in ceremony of Clara Brugada as Head of Government, as well as for the heads of the 16 capital districts.
According to what was established for the Solemn Session, Clara Brugada will be sworn in as head of Government at 9:00 a.m. on October 5 before the 66 deputies that make up the III Legislature of the Congress of Mexico City.

For the holding of this session, the necessary quorum will be confirmed by taking the attendance roll; after which a courtesy commission will be appointed to receive Brugada, which will be headed by the outgoing head of government, Martí Batres, and the president of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City, Rafael Guerra.
The welcome for the special guests, including the then President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, will be given by Martha Ávila Ventura, head of the Board of Directors of the capital’s Congress.
After paying tribute to the flag and reading the solemn proclamation, the parliamentary groups and political associations will issue a statement of position lasting up to five minutes before finally proceeding with the swearing-in of Brugada as head of the Government, who will conclude with a message.

Once the Head of Government has concluded her participation, Ávila Ventura will give a final message, the National Anthem will be sung and the end of the solemn session will be established.
With a less complex protocol, the solemn session for the swearing-in of the heads of the 16 territorial demarcations will take place at 8:00 a.m. on October 1.
During the session, the parliamentary groups and associations will express their positions, followed by the swearing-in of the mayors, and finally concluding with a message from the President of the Board of Directors.
