jpnn.comJAKARTA – Actor Vino G. Bastian was asked to leave the room during the judging discussion process for the 2024 Indonesia Movie Actors Awards.
The incident did not happen without reason. Vino was asked to leave the room because he was listed as one of the actors who had to be judged.
Although listed as a judge, Vino is apparently also included in the list of film actors competing to be nominated in the 2024 IMAA category.
Lukman Sardi, who is also one of the judges at IMAA 2024, explained that the assessment process for selecting award category nominations was quite strict.
Therefore, the names concerned who are included in the nomination selection assessment will be asked to leave the room until the discussion is complete.
“Not only from the actor’s side, I was involved in the film as a producer or director, I had to leave first, after the discussion was finished, then I joined again,” said Lukman Sardi in an online press conference some time ago.
On the other hand, another IMAA 2024 judge, Marcella Zalianty, confirmed the incident.
Marcella revealed that there was a ticklish moment during the jury’s assessment process.
