The professional integration rate of vocational training graduates has reached 90% (Sekkouri)

In response to an oral question on graduates of vocational training and university institutions, Mr. Sekkouri stressed that the inclusion rate of these graduates is 70% immediately after graduation and exceeds 80% for some training institutions, while this rate reaches 90% three years after graduation.

He added that the insertion rate in promising sectors is 81.4% in the automotive industry, 70% in the electricity sector and 66% in the artificial intelligence sector.

The ministry’s programs have recorded “encouraging” integration rates, the minister said, noting that 120,000 people have entered the labor market under the “Idmaj” program via the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills, 35% of whom are graduates of vocational training institutes and 23% are university graduates.

In addition, 20,000 people benefited from the “Tahfiz” program, including 27% graduates of vocational training institutes and 25% university graduates. As for the “Awrach” program, 10% of the beneficiaries are graduates of vocational training institutes and 13% university graduates.

Mr. Sekkouri also stressed that spatial justice in vocational training is at the center of the government’s priorities, reporting 2,055 vocational training institutes spread across the Kingdom, including 420 under the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion, 275 institutes affiliated to government sectors (including about 67 institutions belonging to the agricultural sector), and 1,360 institutes belonging to the private sector.

The number of learners amounts to nearly 418,000, including 300,000 in the public sector and 113,000 in the private sector, with 145 boarding schools with a capacity of around 20,000 beds and 100 apprenticeship training centers, added Mr. Sekkouri.

In response to another question on the participation of women in the labour market, the minister indicated that the rate of women employed in the formal sector and in paid work is encouraging, noting that figures from the National Social Security Fund show that more than 33% of jobs created are occupied by women, reaching even 44% in certain sectors.
