New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi has expressed her displeasure over the letter written by BJP President JP Nadda to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that today’s politics is poisoned. She said that the BJP President sent a mean and aggressive reply. Priyanka Gandhi said on the social media platform X that some BJP leaders and ministers made baseless and violent statements against the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. Concerned about the safety of his life, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to the Prime Minister.
He said that if the Prime Minister had faith in democratic values, equal dialogue and respect for elders, he would have replied to this letter himself. Instead, he got an aggressive reply written by his party president and sent it.
He said that the tradition and culture of democracy is to ask questions and communicate. Even in religion, no one is above values like dignity and etiquette. Today’s politics is full of poison, the Prime Minister should have set a different example while keeping the dignity of his post.
On Thursday, the BJP president had called the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi a failed product and said that it is Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s compulsion to glorify him. Nadda had said this in response to the letter written by Kharge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently.
