During the meeting with the Occupational Health and Safety Committees, the Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, provided information on the Labor Migration Program, a strategy that to date has benefited more than 11 thousand Salvadorans.

This effort led by the State Portfolio and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, enables sources of work abroad. Likewise, Minister Rolando Castro explained that the Labor Migration Program is completely free.

Castro also said that there are many people who are trying to scam others by taking advantage of the lack of information.

The destinations that Salvadorans can choose thanks to the excellent relations of the Government of President Nayib Bukele with other nations are: the United States, Canada and Costa Rica; nations to which more than 10 contingents have been sent to these partner countries.

“Two years ago, I went on a tour of Europe, visiting Spain and Italy, and the results have been very positive. If everything goes according to plan, we will be able to open the program so that Salvadorans can travel to Europe,” the Labor official emphasized.
