BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu said that India is our friend. They helped us in the liberation war of 1971. We don’t expect India to shelter a mass murderer, a money launderer without any documents. Let him be sent back in time.

He said this in a human chain in front of the press club on Thursday (September 19) demanding the trial of the murderer Sheikh Hasina and her henchmen who committed genocide under the initiative of the Desh Bachao Manhoob Bachao movement.

Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, India is our friend. They helped us in the liberation war of 1971. We do not expect that India will give shelter to a mass murderer to a money launderer without any documents. We do not expect this from a friendly country. Those who looted 18 to 20 lakh crores from the farmers and laborers of this country, those who killed the students of the common people of this country, they cannot stay in India. I will specifically ask the Indian Head of State to send him back while there is time.

He said, Bengali nation is a nation of heroes, if this nation decides once then what will happen on August 5 has been proved. India is our friend, we think so. But if they give shelter to the wrongdoer, then these countrymen will not care a bit to snatch him away. They should remember that.

Addressing the interim government, Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, I thank this government for helping the victims of the student movement. It is very well done. A better job would be to help those who have been martyred and wounded in the struggle for the establishment of democracy in the last 16 years. This is what the countrymen think.

BNP Chairperson Advisor Habibur Rahman Habib, Joint Secretary General Prince, Jatiya Party JP Secretary General Ahsan Habib Lincoln, BNP Executive Committee Member Mainul Islam also spoke at the human band under the chairmanship of Desh Bachao Manhoob Bachao Andolan KM Rakibul Islam Ripon and moderated by Acting General Secretary Raju Ahmed.
