Ortiz de Pinedo reacted to the confusion of a deputy elected Morena member who shouted: “Long live Josefa Ortíz de Pinedo!”
It is worth remembering that the past September 15th Sergio Ojeda Castillo -deputy elected by Morena for the District 03 of New Laredo, Tamaulipas– performed the Cry of Independencebut he made a blunder that earned him a series of taunts.
The above happened in a private establishment where the ceremony was held and Castillo began with the traditional harangues, but when saying the name of La Corregidora he got confused and ended up saying the name of comedian Jorge Ortíz de Pinedo.
“Long live Josefa Ortiz de Pinedo!” said the elected Morena deputy who, upon realizing his mistake, tried to correct it in front of those present, but his effort only generated more confusion and some laughter, but in the end he said, “Long live Josefa Ortiz de Pinedo!” Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez!”.
The clip went viral and social media users criticized the Morena legislator-elect.

Ortiz de Pinedo reacts to Castillo’s shout
The writer and member of the Ortiz de Pinedo dynasty reacted to the Morena member’s confusion, making fun of the curious speech he made.
“Oh, gosh… I didn’t know my family was a national hero. Doña Josefa Ortiz de Pinedo. Only in the 4T,” he wrote. Oscar Ortiz de Pinedo on his ‘X’ account accompanied by a photo of La Corregidora but with the face of the comic actor superimposed.

In the account of Instagram from the comic series “A Family of Ten“-produced and acted by Jorge Ortíz de Pinedo- joined the sarcastic comments following Sergio Ojeda Castillo’s blunder.
“Long live Doña Josefa Ortíz de Pinedo, a brave family leader who sacrificed her own well-being to help ten starving insurgents,” reads the post – accompanied by the image shared by Oscar – alluding to the character from the television show.
