jpnn.comJAKARTA – Candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta Pramono Anung and Rano Karno or Doel met with the former provincial leader with the Monas icon Basuki Tjahaja Purnama at the Semanggi Interchange, Central Jakarta, Thursday (19/9).
Pram, Pramono’s nickname, came to the location wearing a brown shirt, while Rano was wearing batik.
Ahok, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama’s nickname, who wore glasses, wore a gray polo suit and black pants to the location.
They then appeared to be chatting about several things while walking in the Simpang Susun area, then sat at the monument that said Semanggi.
Pram said after the meeting that the previous governors of Jakarta had actually left many positive legacies.
He gave the example of Ahok, who served as Governor of Jakarta from 2014-2017, who was able to create the Semanggi Interchange.
“The existing governors have left a good legacy for Jakarta, of course it will be continued, one of the extraordinary legacies of Mr. Ahok is the Semanggi Interchange,” said the former Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Thursday.
Pram admitted that he would continue the legacy and positive programs of the previous Jakarta Governors for the sake of the residents.
