The late actor Klausjürgen Wussow had four children. His son Benjamin has now surprised his social media community with some happy news.
Benjamin Wussow has already been confronted with numerous blows of fate. When he was 13 years old, he lost his mother Yvonne Viehofer. In 2007, he also had to cope with the death of his father. TV legend Klausjürgen Wussow died at the age of 78.
Then, in 2020, the next tragedy struck: Benjamin Wussow and his wife Ale were expecting their first child. But the unborn child had serious health problems caused by trisomy 18. The so-called Edwards syndrome is a genetic disease in which chromosome 18 – or parts of it – is present three times instead of twice. This disrupts the development of a baby in the womb and causes various organ malformations. Wussow’s son Sammy was not spared either; he died six hours after birth. Four years after the loss, the couple is now full of joy: they have had another child.
Benjamin Wussow published a photo of the baby on his Instagram channel. In the photo, his son is wearing beige rompers and a matching hat, under which his dark hair can be seen. Wussow’s offspring has turned his head to the side and has a fist in his mouth. A yellow wool blanket covers his legs and stomach.
In the caption, the 31-year-old also reveals the name of his child. “Welcome, Ezra Maximilian! We love you. Now Essy has a little brother,” he writes. Essy is the daughter of Benjamin and Ale Wussow. She was born in 2022.
