Today, Thursday, three matches will be held in Baghdad, Kirkuk and Zakho, as part of the first stage of the Professional Basketball League. Gas North will host Al-Kahraba on its home ground, while Al-Shorta and Darbandikhan will meet in the People’s Hall, and the newcomer Al-Tijara will be a guest of Zakho.
North Gas hopes to continue its promising start after achieving a victory over Al-Shorta in its previous match by a difference of 10 points. In turn, Al-Kahraba players are looking to record a strong start and collect full points when they arrive in Kirkuk.
In another match, Al-Shorta and the newcomer Darbandikhan are looking to make up for their failure in the first round and achieve their first win in the competition. For their part, Zakho will host the newly promoted Al-Tijara in their stadium, seeking to achieve a second consecutive win, at the expense of a team that appeared strongly at the beginning of its journey in the league, when it passed Darbandikhan.
