‘Nation’s MC’ Yoo Jae-suk is attracting attention after news spread that no problems were found even after the National Tax Service’s high-intensity tax investigation.

According to News 1’s confirmation on the 20th, Yoo Jae-suk was subjected to a high-intensity tax investigation by the National Tax Service in June and July. This tax investigation was part of a regular tax investigation targeting high-income earners, but it was confirmed that the investigation was conducted at a high intensity considering the land and buildings that Yoo Jae-suk recently purchased.

This tax investigation did not uncover any suspicions of tax reporting errors or omissions. It is said that Yoo Jae-suk recently paid the entire purchase price in cash during the land and building purchase process, but there were no tax omissions or anything related to this.

It was revealed that Yoo Jae-suk purchased a 298.5㎡ (90.3 pyeong) piece of land and a 275.2㎡ (83.2 pyeong) villa building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 11.6 billion won and 8.2 billion won, respectively, last year. In particular, Yoo Jae-suk attracted attention by paying the entire purchase price of 19.8 billion won in cash without any loans.

News 1 confirmed the position of Antenna Entertainment, Yoo Jae-suk’s agency, regarding the tax investigation process and results, but they did not provide a specific statement.

In addition to the recent ‘noise’ tax investigation, Yoo Jae-seok is also famous for his extraordinary management of his private life. During his long career, Yoo Jae-seok has shown the public the dignity of a ‘national MC’ without causing any scandals related to his private life.

In particular, Yoo Jae-suk is also exerting positive influence through active donation activities.

Since 2013, Yoo Jae-suk has been consistently donating to the coal briquette bank, which he became acquainted with through MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge’. In 2019, it was reported that Yoo Jae-suk’s cumulative donations had reached 430 million won, drawing attention.

Last year, Yoo Jae-seok donated 100 million won to help flood victims, and in April of this year, he donated 50 million won to a sanitary pad support project for vulnerable female youth in Korea and abroad. In addition, Yoo Jae-seok has been consistently sharing news of donations every year, living up to his title of ‘National MC’.
