jpnn.comJAKARTA – Young equestrian athlete from DKI Jakarta Teuku Rifat Harsya (15 years old) won two golds from the U-21 Team Class for Dressage (dress riding) and Jumping (hurdle jumping) at the 21st PON Aceh-North Sumatra 2024.

With a total of four gold medals, Jakarta is certain to be the overall champion in this sport.

For his achievements, the son of Teuku Riefky Harsya and Adinda Yuanita expressed his gratitude and thanks to his family, team, coaches, and managers who have guided, motivated, and trained him so far.

“Alhamdulillah, this is the result of hard work and perseverance over the past five years,” said Rifat, Tuesday (17/9).

He hopes that this achievement can be an encouragement for young Indonesians to continue to achieve not only at the national level, but also to bring the red and white to the international level.

“Hopefully it will inspire, especially young people,” he said.

Teuku Rifat and his team’s first gold medal was won in the U-21 team dressage class with M. Akbar Kurniawan (20 years old) and Claresta Amantha Kamsari (20 years old).

While the second gold was obtained in the U-21 100 CM double jumping class with M. Akbar Kurniawan (20 years old) and Aisha Medyna Hakim (15 years old).
