jpnn.com – SERANG – Ahead of the 2024 PPPK registration, the Banten Provincial Government is intensifying communication with non-ASN or honorary employees.

This step is a form of commitment from the Banteng Provincial Government to fight for honorary status so that they can be appointed as Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).

Head of the Banten Province Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD), Nana Supiana, in Serang, Thursday, said the activity had been carried out over the past few days.

Communication and dialogue related to the provisions in the Decree of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 347/2024 concerning the 2024 PPPK Selection Mechanism, related to the provision that honorary workers who can take part in the selection are those who have entered the BKN database and honorary workers who have worked for at least two consecutive years.

Dialogue or reconciliation does not only involve honorary employees, but also the leaders of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) so that there is no conflicting information.

“Through direct face-to-face activities, we also absorb information about what questions stakeholders have regarding the new regulations,” said Nana Supiana.

Nana said that in the Decree of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform 347, it is stated that there is a classification for people who have worked in government agencies for a minimum of two years.

On the other hand, the Banten Provincial Government has based on the honorary data that has been entered into the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) as many as 11,737 people, in order to complete the status of being appointed as PPPK.

Nana said there was a lot of input from the dialogue process, for example regarding the classification of non-teaching technical and health workers.

“That’s why we absorb information or questions from fellow stakeholders so that later we (Banten Provincial Government) can consolidate them with the central government regarding the problems in the region,” he said.

In the 2024 PPPK registration, the local government refers to the BKN database, but there is a rule that honorary workers who have worked for 2 years can take part in the selection.
