Walton Plaza officials handed over a financial assistance check to Masud Majhi
Farmer Masud Majhi bought a Walton brand mobile phone in installments from Walton Plaza in Jhalkathi Sadar. Recently his wife died due to illness. In view of this, Walton Plaza stands by Masud’s family. Walton Plaza authorities have given a total of 25 thousand rupees assistance to Masud Majhi along with waiving all remaining installments. Walton Plaza has given this facility to Masood’s family under the ‘installment buyer and family protection policy’ of the multinational brand Walton.
It should be noted that Walton Plaza is offering ‘installment buyer and family protection policy’ for customers buying products in installments. Under this, Installment Protection Card is being given to the installment buyers of products from any Walton Plaza in the country. Walton Plaza is providing assistance from Tk 50,000 to Tk 3 lakh in case of death of the customer while the installment is in progress and Tk 25,000 to Tk 1,50,000 in case of death of a member of the customer’s family. In this case, the remaining money is given to the buyer or his family after adjusting the unpaid installments of the respective products.
Yesterday (September 18, 2024) Masud Majhi formally received financial support at Walton Plaza located on Station Road in the city. Walton’s Plaza Manager Yamin Ahmed, Regional Sales Manager Shamim Hasan and Divisional Credit Manager Shahanur Alam were present at this time.
Masud Majhi is a resident of Chhota Pramahar village of Pratap Union of Nalchiti Upazila. On February 12 this year, Masum bought a mobile phone from the showroom for Tk 18,250. His wife died of a sudden stroke on August 6. In this situation, Walton Plaza stands beside them. Walton Plaza has given assistance of 25 thousand rupees by waiving the installment. Masud Majhi, the head of the family of four, thanked Walton for helping him in this helpless situation of the family.
