jpnn.comJAKARTA – Three famous bands from Taiwan, namely The Chairs, The Dinosaur’s Skin, and I’mdifficult will make their debut appearance in Indonesia.
The three groups will perform at the AXEAN Festival 2024, a regional music event for Southeast Asia and East Asia held at Jimbaran Hub, Bali on September 28-29, 2024.
The Chairs is a trio from Taichung who won the prestigious Golden Melody Award in 2019 for their album Lovely Sunday.
Currently, The Chairs are one of the most popular bands in Taiwan and have toured in countries such as Japan, China, Australia and Singapore last year, before starting a tour in China this year for their latest album The Great Escape Of Our Time.
In 2023, The Chairs also performed at the curated JADED event at SXSW in Austin, Texas, alongside other renowned Asian artists such as Balming Tiger, 9m88, and Tohji.
Next, The Dinosaur’s Skin is a mysterious duet formed by the dinosaurs Trex and Triceratops from the Cretaceous period 65 million years ago.
Surviving a mass extinction and traveling through a wormhole to modern-day Taipei, the two now compose songs in memory of their lost friends.
