“7 days, 7 arts” turned Elena into an art center in the Balkans

For the second year in a row, the Municipality of Elena, together with the Museum of the Renaissance, the “Progress – Elena – 1863” Public School and the City Library organized the festival “7 days, 7 arts”.

In the days from September 13 to 19, Elen residents and guests of the city had the opportunity to enjoy a concert performance, exhibitions, church chants, a literary evening, circus art, a theatrical production, reported by the local administration.

The beginning was given with the impressive concert performance “Let’s listen to the cinema” with the participation of Hilda Kazasyan, Theodosii Spasov, Vasil Petrov and the Pleven Philharmonic, in the city’s renovated summer cinema.

On the day of the great Christian holiday Crossroads, valuable exhibits from the church “St. Archangel Michael” in the village of Shilkovtsi were displayed in the ground floor of the “Daskalolivnitsa”, followed by a concert of church chants performed by the “Slavic Unity” choir from the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa .

The third day was dedicated to entertainment for children. In the Trade Union House in Elena, the little ones had fun learning the first steps in circus art, together with the “Skrine” theater.

A guest at the festival on Monday evening was one of the popular Bulgarian writers – Lyudmila Filipova, author of the bestsellers “Anatomy of Illusions”, “Red Gold”, “Glass Fates”, “Journey to the End of the World”, “The Meaning”, “The Contact” etc.

On September 17, the performers Divna, Monty, Moisei and Igrata lifted the mood of the audience with lots of dancing and fun moments in the summer cinema.

The next arts day in Elena was devoted to music and visual arts. In the space in front of the Art Gallery, an exhibition was arranged with paintings from all plein airs held under the “Culture in Eternity” project, and an exciting addition to the evening was the wonderful concert by the ladies from the “Art” trio, Veliko Tarnovo.

The days of the arts in Elena ended with the romantic comedy “Iznenadaaa”, which, thanks to the excellent acting of Maria Sapundjieva, Filip Avramov, Tatiana Tsvetkova and Miglena Stoeva, moved the audience in the hall of the community center.

The second edition of the festival “7 days, 7 arts” is gaining more and more popularity among the residents and guests of the Renaissance Elena and contributes to the enrichment of cultural life in the municipality.
