Sharjah is followed by Zimbabwe’s Harare Sports Club. A total of 182 international ODI matches have been held at this ground. Australia’s Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is third with 161 matches, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is fourth with 151 matches and Sri Lanka’s R. Premadasa Stadium is in fifth place with 151 matches.

The first ODI match in cricket history was held in 1971. Sharjah Cricket Stadium was built in 1982. And in 1984, the first international ODI was held. 250 ODIs at one ground in 42 years is undoubtedly a great record.
