2 entrepreneurial directors SM Ashraful Alam and SM Nurul Alam Rizvi announced the transfer of shares of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, a company listed in the engineering sector in the capital market.
On Thursday (September 19), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
2 entrepreneurial directors of Walton Hitech have announced the transfer of a total of 2 crore 11 lakh 20 thousand shares. Out of this, entrepreneurial director SM Ashraful Alam has expressed interest in transferring 60 lakh 60 thousand shares to his son Shahriar Alam Shubo and 60 lakh 60 thousand shares to daughter Faria Alam Prabha.
Meanwhile, the company’s other venture director SM Nurul Alam Rizvi has expressed interest in transferring 90 lakh shares to his daughter Rifah Tasnia Swarna.
These two entrepreneurial directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc will be transferred outside the trading system of DSE within 30 working days from last September 17.
Incidentally, Walton Hi-Tech Industries was listed on the capital market in 2020. The paid up capital of this company of ‘A’ category is 302 crores 92 lakhs 80 thousand taka. According to that, the total number of shares of the company is 30 crore 29 lakh 28 thousand 343. As of August 31 this year, the company’s entrepreneurial directors hold 98.51 percent, institutional investors hold 0.66 percent, foreign investors hold 0.10 percent and general investors hold 0.73 percent.
