Salvadoran families can purchase fresh produce at 50 fair price agricultural markets nationwide without spending too much, according to the Government’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).

Among the low-priced products, the population can find güisquil at seven for $1.00, 20 tomatoes for $1.00, a pound of beans at $0.80 and a pound of rice at $0.30 cents.

Recently, the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, published on his official X account that: “There are more and more locations, better prices and more variety.” The affordable prices have been verified by the population that buys at the agromarkets every day.

“They should come and buy because everything is quite convenient compared to other markets. Here you can find very convenient things. I bring beans because I love them ever since I tried them. I only come here to bring them,” said Gloria Hernández, in Cojutepeque.

With this initiative, which already has 50 sales points nationwide, Salvadorans benefit directly in their pockets, since the savings are significant.
