Royal donations to the Chorfas of the Zaouïa Kettania and to the Sidi Ahmed Ben Acher Mausoleum in Salé
Salé – A royal commission proceeded, Saturday in Salé, to the presentation of royal gifts to the Chorfas of the Zaouïa Kettania and the Mausoleum of Sidi Ahmed Ben Acher, in commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the disappearance of the late HM Hassan II, may God rest his soul.
These royal gifts were presented during religious ceremonies, which took place in a climate of meditation and piety, in the presence of the governor of the prefecture of Salé, representatives of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs, security and local officials, as well as Chorfas and followers of the Zaouïas.
On this occasion, the Chorfas of the Zaouïa Kettania and the Mausoleum of Sidi Ahmed Ben Acher expressed their sincere thanks for this High royal solicitude and implored the Almighty to preserve HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, and to fulfill the Sovereign in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Princess Lalla Khadija and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, as well as all the members of the illustrious Royal Family.
Prayers were also offered for the repose of the souls of the late Sovereigns, the late HM Hassan II and the late HM Mohammed V, may God have them in His holy mercy.
