This trust was given by the Shizuoka Muslim congregation to the foundation in order to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims who came.
One of the mosque construction committees stated that the current capacity of the mosque is inadequate. Therefore, it is necessary to add floors to the mosque.
Bani Al Husein, a volunteer at the Ada Orang Baik Foundation, emphasized the foundation’s commitment to raising funds for the construction of the mosque.
“God willing, this will be a three-story mosque. Building a mosque in Japan is very difficult, but thank God the land has been cleared and the building permit has been obtained,” explained Bani Al Husein, in his statement, Thursday (19/9).
Bani also invited the entire community to participate in supporting the construction of this mosque.
“While this opportunity is here, God willing, let’s help our friends, because the best place to build a mosque is in a place where there are still few Muslims,” he added.
The collaboration between the Ada Orang Baik Foundation and the Japanese Muslim community, especially the Shizuoka Mosque construction committee, is a symbol of unity and dedication to expanding worship facilities for Muslims in Japan.
