/ US President Joe Biden warned that democracy, individual freedoms, and everything in the United States are “at stake” in light of his predecessor Donald Trump’s continued victory in the Republican Party primaries in a number of states, the latest of which is New Hampshire.
In a statement issued shortly after his Republican opponent’s victory, the Democratic president, who is seeking a second term, said, “It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee, and my message to the country is that the stakes could not be higher. Our democracy, our individual freedoms, our economy, are all at stake.”
Immediately after these media estimates of Trump’s victory were issued, President Joe Biden’s election campaign considered that the former president’s victory in New Hampshire meant that he would obtain his Republican Party’s nomination for the presidential elections was almost guaranteed.
“Tonight’s results confirm that Donald Trump has virtually secured the Republican nomination,” campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.
Trump won the Republican primary in New Hampshire, against his rival, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, according to estimates published by several US media outlets on Tuesday evening.
