The Civil Aeronautics of Colombia confirmed that, after remaining several minutes on Colombian soil, the takeoff of aircraft YV3226 was authorized, which had landed at the Camilo Daza International Airport in Cúcuta after an operational incident related to confusion between nearby runways.

In a statement addressed to the airport authorities, it was specified that the aircraft has the proper authorization from Aerocivilin accordance with the Chicago Convention and the current Aeronautical Regulations of ColombiaThis agreement, signed by Colombia, recognizes the right of international aircraft to make technical stops in national territory and to use aerodromes in emergency situations, as occurred in this case.

The incident that caused the emergency landing of aircraft YV3226 has been attributed to a possible navigation errorwhich led to confusion between the airport runways.
