This edition, which will see the participation of more than 250 exhibitors, should welcome more than 75,000 visitors, according to the organizers.
The Moroccan participation, the result of a collaboration between the Moroccan Embassy in Spain, the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North (APDN) and the Consulate of the Kingdom in Valencia, will aim to promote the culinary heritage of the country, through the exhibition of gastronomic products and a program of cooking shows, which will be hosted by the Tangier chef Amer Bouhlal.
During the four days of the fair, visitors to the Moroccan stand will also be able to discover the tourist attractions of the Kingdom, through written and audiovisual media, and will have the opportunity to savor the delicacies and creations of Najat Kaanache, a great Moroccan chef trained in the most prestigious restaurants in the world, it is indicated.
The Alicante Gastronomic Fair is considered the largest culinary event in Spain, where 120 Michelin stars and 10 Repsol Suns will come together this year, to introduce the public and producers to the latest trends and the different specialties and gastronomic products from Spain and beyond.
The programme of this gastronomic event, organised by the Alicante Provincial Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Alicantina Fair and the Valencia Tourist Office, includes gastronomic conferences, workshops, competitions, tastings and product sales.
