‘2024 IU HEREH World Tour Concert Encore: The Winning’ Concert
Singer IU prepared telescopes and cushions for the 50,000 audience members who attended her Sangam concert.
On the afternoon of the 22nd, IU held the ‘2024 IU HEREH World Tour Concert Encore: The Winning’ at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, Seoul. On this day, 50,000 audience members joined IU.
After completing the opening stage that day, IU introduced herself by saying, “I sincerely welcome the Sangam audience today.” After hearing the cheers of the 50,000 people who filled the World Cup Stadium, IU exclaimed, “Oh, it’s Sunday after all.”
At this Sangam concert, IU prepared cushions and telescopes for the audience. She said, “The cushions are all yours, so please don’t forget to take them,” and explained, “The telescope was used conceptually in ‘The Winning,’ and this gift was prepared so that those who are watching from afar can see a little closer, so I hope you use it well.”
He then bowed his head and asked the audience to throw away their telescope cases in a large trash can.
Meanwhile, IU began her world tour at the KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul in March, and continued her overseas tour to 18 cities on each continent, including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Berlin, and Los Angeles. She then became the first female musician to enter the World Cup Stadium in Seoul, drawing an audience of 100,000 people over two days on the 21st and 22nd.
