The first seats to be sold, between September 23 and 24, will be for trips to Andalusia, Aragon, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Valencian Community, Extremadura, Madrid, Melilla and Murcia. Starting September 25, if there are free places, more trips can be purchased.
Trips to Asturias, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, Ceuta, Galicia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, La Rioja and the Basque Country will be sold between 25 and 26 September. In this case, to buy more trips you will have to wait until 27 September.
The places will be distributed in 443,887 for the first lottery (Peninsula Coast); 230,039 places for second place (island coast) and a total of 212,343 places for third place (geaways and European tourism). The prices of the trips will depend on the destination and the length of the trips, and the range will be between about 120 and about 330 euros. To reserve a place it will be necessary to pay a fixed amount that will not exceed 20% of the total amount of the trip. This payment must be completed 45 days before the start of the trip or at the time of booking if the trip starts in October or November and is booked less than 45 days in advance.
Reservations can be made through accredited travel agencies, on presentation of ID only or on the official website (www.turismosocial.com), where it will also be necessary to provide the accreditation key sent by Imserso to the beneficiary.
The total number of hotels participating in the Imserso tourist itinerary for the 2024-2025 season is about 5% higher than the previous competition, although there may be more as the contracting has not yet been definitively closed. Specifically, Social Tourism, the Ávoris Corporación Empresarial brand that manages the program, publishes on its website the number of establishments included in the program. However, the tourism group has reported that they have not stopped publishing the hotels in full yet. “It is a work that is developed at the same time as the publication of the circuits and will be completed in the coming days,” explained the company.
