She made the announcement in a personal and intimate video, in which she appeared on vacation with Prince William and their children. The video shows the family enjoying time together in the woods and at the beach, playing cards, and drawing. Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, also played cards with the family. Catalina made two public appearances this year. One was during the royal birthday celebrations in June and then in July at the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
“As summer draws to a close, I can’t tell you how happy I am to have completed my chemotherapy,” Kate announced in a very personal statement when she announced the end of chemotherapy.
“The last nine months have been incredibly hard on us as a family. Life as we know it can change in an instant and we have to find a way to navigate the turbulent waters and unknown paths,” he said that.
“The cancer journey is complicated, scary and unexpected for everyone, especially those who are close to you. With humility, you also come face to face with your own weaknesses in a way you have never thought of before, and with that, a new perspective on everything,” he wrote.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my road to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. However, I hope to get back to work and take on some more public engagements in the coming months when I can“, he promised.
