State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov expressed his negative attitude towards the teaching of Darwin’s theory in Russian schools, while citing rather controversial arguments.
According to him, Poles, Estonians and Latvians allegedly descended from primates and even earthworms, while Belarusians and Russians, in his opinion, are “God’s creations.”
Poles, Estonians and Latvians descended from macaques, monkeys and earthworms, while Belarusians and Russians are God’s creatures,” said Russian State Duma deputy Milonov.
Social networks reacted to the deputy’s statement. Users actively shared their thoughts and sarcastic remarks in the comments.
