On September 20, Mr. Nguyen Long An, Member of the Royal Society of Music – ABRSM, Director of Community Outreach Programs of the Saigon Symphony Orchestra (SPO) said that the world’s most successful ABBA band, Arrival, will be present in Da Nang and Hoi An on the tour “The Music of ABBA”.

This special event will take place on the nights of October 8 and 9, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Vietnam – Sweden diplomatic relations. This event is not only an opportunity to remember the successes of ABBA but also an opportunity to connect culture and art between Vietnam and Sweden.
The first show on the evening of October 8 will take place at the Hoi An Memories Island stage (Quang Nam) with the theme “Hoi An Memories & ABBA Music Show”. Next, on the evening of October 9, the International Music Festival will take place at the Ariyana International Convention Palace in Da Nang, attracting more than 2,000 spectators.
The event is part of Arrival’s “The Music of ABBA” tour. The Swedish band formed in 1995 and quickly became one of the most famous ABBA acts in the world.
This tour features DrumsetÅke Sundqvist – a musician from the original band ABBA.
It is known that the group Arrival has toured in 70 countries and had more than 80 performances in 2024 with impressive performances.
During the two nights of Arrival performing in Hoi An and Da Nang, the audience will enjoy famous hits such as: “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia” and “SOS” in a vibrant musical space.
In particular, the combination of Arrival and the SPO symphony orchestra will bring a rich musical experience, both familiar and new.
“The Music of ABBA” in Hoi An and Da Nang this time will be one of the most anticipated music events in 2024 in Vietnam.
