The commitment of the police forces in the fight against drug dealing and trafficking continues every day. In the last few hours, both the Carabinieri and the State Police have obtained important results on this front, arresting one person and reporting another.
The police in Don Bosco
On Thursday afternoon, investigators from the Bolzano Mobile Squad’s Narcotics Section conducted an anti-drug operation in the Don Bosco neighborhood, after receiving reports of suspicious activity in a condominium on Via Resia. The officers stopped a 44-year-old man from Bolzano, with numerous criminal records, including drug dealing, who was traveling in a high-powered car. The man immediately appeared agitated and admitted to being in possession of several grams of cocaine. During the subsequent search, the police found, hidden on a kitchen cabinet, a package contained in a large glass jar, mixed with Nutella, with another 39 grams of cocaine inside. They also seized two precision scales “dirty” with cocaine and several cut nylon bags, from which numerous “rounds” had been obtained to package the doses to be sold. The man was arrested. Considering the dangerousness of the subject and his criminal record, the police commissioner of Bolzano Paolo Sartori has ordered the measure of special surveillance for the man.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Bolzano Company noticed a man, already known to the police, as he was leaving his home, strangely agitated. Stopped by the military for a simple check, he worsened the situation by showing a hurry that aroused the suspicion of the Carabinieri who decided to see clearly: at that point, seeing himself hunted, the man handed over to the Carabinieri a “piece” of hashish of about 8 grams. The search for other drugs, extended to the apartment, allowed them to find other substances, including cocaine (about 80 grams), testosterone, in liquid form and in tablets, and a precision scale, all ready to be sold on the illegal drug market.
