Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will not allow the film to be released in Maharashtra under any circumstances. He questioned why films of Pakistani artists are being allowed to be released in India?

In the post, Raj Thackeray has written, ‘There is no border between countries, this is fine in other cases, but in the case of Pakistan, this will not be allowed at all. In the midst of hatred towards India or the only issue that is weighing heavily on the country, how is it right to make the artists of such a country dance here and show their films?’

On the other hand, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amay Khopkar while talking to ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ said that if any Pakistani artist comes to India to promote his film, he will be beaten up and his hands and legs will be broken. Explaining the reason for the protest against Pakistani artists, he said that India has always been attacked by Pakistan, in which many Indian soldiers have been martyred. Attacks take place in many cities, in which police officers have been martyred. Amay Khopkar raised the question that why does India need art from Pakistan? Are there no artists in our country? Why do we need only Pakistani artists?
