As part of the School Prevention and Safety Plan at the Francisco Menéndez National Institute (INFRAMENT) and at the National Technical Industrial Institute (INTI) received a preventive operation from the National Civil Police (PNC).

During this operation, two portions of crack were found inside the INTI, while at the INFRAMEN, a minor was arrested from whom a small portion of plant material was seized.

“At this moment, we are going to proceed to arrest a minor from INFRAMEN, since a small amount of marijuana was found on him, apparently as a result of the tracking we are doing with the pairs, and we are going to proceed according to the law. The message is that no matter how much drugs are found on the students, we are going to proceed according to the law,” said Commissioner Linares.

The School Prevention and Safety Plan also seeks to keep the human talent of the police institution assigned inside and around educational centers to provide the required security and prevent violent events.
