As part of services aimed at verifying the correct provision of aesthetic medicine services, the Carabinieri of the NAS of Bari caught a surgeon who was performing minimally invasive procedures in an unauthorized clinic in the city of Trani.
In particular, the military identified two local men in their twenties who had just undergone aesthetic medicine treatment with filler injections to their lips and nose, confirming the existence of a real aesthetic surgery studio, already equipped with cutting-edge equipment, intended for particularly complex surgical procedures.
The activity was immediately suspended and the doctor was warned not to provide any medical services in that office until the required authorization was obtained.
