Monday will be mostly cloudy, but the sun will shine at times. Precipitation is not expected and light winds will remain. At night, the air temperature will drop to +9…+14 degrees, in the northeastern regions to +4…+9 degrees, frost is possible in some places, the thermometer in the upper layer of the grass will drop to 0…-1 degrees. During the bright hours of the day, the air will remain relatively warm, the air temperature will rise to +17…+22 degrees.
On Tuesday, the sky will clear and the sun will shine, precipitation is not expected. At night, the air will become slightly warmer than on Monday, cooling down to +10…+15 degrees. The day is expected to be pleasantly warm, the thermometer will rise to +20…+23 degrees.
In the middle of the week, as the influence of the cyclone intensifies, the weather will change – on the night of Wednesday, a precipitation zone will cross Latvia from the west, bringing rain that will continue during the day and is expected in the largest part of the country’s territory. The wind will gradually become stronger and will blow from the south, with gusts reaching up to 15 meters per second. The air temperature will be +11…+16 degrees at night, +17…+20 degrees during the day.
Currently, the forecasts show that the weather will become autumnal during the weekend – it will rain more often, the gusty wind will remain, as well as the air temperature will gradually become lower, frost may form on the top layer of the grass at night.
