(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 23 – Two years after his last stadium tour, culminating in the big event at the Imola racetrack, and the amazing winter tour in arenas, which saw him as the absolute protagonist with unforgettable shows, Cesare Cremonini returns to the music scene today and does so with two important announcements: the release of the new single “Ora che non ho più te” (available from tonight at midnight on all digital platforms and from tomorrow on the radio) and his live return in 2025 with “Cremonini live25”, an extraordinary stadium tour throughout Italy, the biggest of his career, in which he will bring his music for the first time to the Maradona Stadium in Naples, the San Nicola Stadium in Bari and during which he will return to Sicily after a 7-year absence. For his big return, Cesare Cremonini was portrayed by two important names in international photography, Luigi & Iango, who immortalized the Italian artist in their studios in New York at the end of August. The single, a powerful song with a contemporary and elegant sound, with synth pop references, is taken from the new album, whose release date has not yet been announced. In the song, Cesare’s warm, dry and intimate voice takes the listener into a story of solitude, love and rebirth. The lyrics are a direct and confidential dialogue with his own past, in search of redemption in the face of the end of a relationship. Thus the song manages to communicate a “nostalgic happiness” to the listener. ”Ora che non ho più te is a real song. – explains Cesare Cremonini – I chose it as a trailblazer because it represented a turning point from the point of view of musical production and a page-turner in my life. It’s not a memory that I want to return, it’s an experience that must become a biography, returning free. I believe it’s important to abandon things when you’re allowed to, it’s useless to end a relationship, a friendship, a work relationship, any piece of your life, before it’s due, before the time is right. There is a past in the song, there is a finished love, but there is also a new life to face for me and for those who were with me. “Now that I no longer have you I never rest”. There has been nothing more true for me. No metaphors are needed, when you no longer rest, when you can no longer sleep. Then the new music coming out dresses you again, everything suddenly changes. You are the master, for a few seconds, of your destiny. ‘Now that I no longer have you’ is the curtain that opens on a project made of many scenographies that I will reveal song after song. In this song there is all the desire to return to speaking a more real language, of the things I experience, without hiding. I am attached to life: I work, I travel, I know, I throw myself into experiences. Even the musical choices reflect this attitude, it is a song that wants to make you sing, scream, dance with your feet on the ground. These are the dates of “Cremonini live25”: June 8 Lignano, June 15 Milan, June 19 Bologna, June 20 Bologna, June 24 Naples, June 28 Messina, July 3 Bari, July 8 Padua, July 12 Turin, July 17 Rome. American Express is the official sponsor of the tour. From midnight it will be possible to see on all digital platforms the video clip of the song “Ora che non ho più te”, produced by Borotalco.tv and directed by Enea Colombi. The video was shot in Friuli, in the Magredi del Cellina area. From tomorrow, September 24, the 45 rpm of the single will be available for pre-order in a special limited edition on colored vinyl. Pre-order link: The artistic production of “Ora che non ho più te” is by Cesare Cremonini, Alessandro De Crescenzo, Alessio Natalizia. Text and music: Cesare Cremonini, Davide Petrella. (ANSA).
