For the fourth timeMexico City authorities arrested Francisco “N”, alias “Paco Warts”alleged member of ‘The Tepito Union’.
This occurred after elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), with the support of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City, executed a search warrant at a home in the Venustiano Carranza municipality.

According to investigations by the authorities, a property was identified on Pintores Street, in the Morelos neighborhood, where “Paco Verrugas” was possibly hiding and where apparent drugs were sold.
During the search, Francisco “N”, 34 years old, was arrested and 235 doses and around 600 grams of a green herb similar to marijuana were seized, which was packaged in tan-colored tape. Authorities also seized two short firearms and a magazine loaded with live cartridges.
The detainee, along with the seized items, was placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Prosecutor’s Office agent. In the meantime, the property was closed, sealed and under police guard.

According to data collected by the capital authorities, this is the fourth time that “Paco Verrugas” has been arrested. His criminal record indicates that he was arrested in 2014, 2022 and 2023, for crimes against health and possession of a firearm.
On the other hand, and according to reporter Carlos Jiménez, “Paco Verrugas” is close to José Mauricio Hernández Gasca, alias “Tomate”, who in turn is close to Luis Fernando Contreras, alias “El Barbas”, one of the former leaders of ‘La Unión Tepito’ and who is currently incarcerated in a Chihuahua prison.
According to the journalist, “Paco Verrugas” is said to be engaged in extortion, trafficking and robbery in Venustiano Carranza.
