The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources reports that rain is expected in the coastal area during the morning of this Sunday. In the afternoon, rain is expected in the northern part of the country, as well as storms in the volcanic chain and part of the coast.
In addition, rain is forecast for tonight in areas of the eastern zone, parts of the central zone, the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador and on the coast. For early Monday morning, rain is expected on the central and eastern coast, along with scattered rain in the eastern zone.
Maximum temperatures on Sunday will range between 30 and 34 degrees in the west, 28 to 34 degrees in the central zone, and 30 to 33 degrees in the east.
The Ministry of the Environment’s observatory notes that cloudiness and rainfall will increase from midday in various parts of the country, with particular emphasis on the coastal sector.
Authorities recommend that the population take precautions and stay informed about the weather from official government accounts.
