jpnn.com – Political observer from Al Azhar University Indonesia, Ujang Komarudin, responded to President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s move to form a zaken cabinet.
The executive director of the Indonesian Political Review (IPR) assessed Prabowo’s desire to form a zaken cabinet positively.
According to Ujang, Prabowo’s zaken cabinet could be filled with experts who are also active in politics, either in political parties or on the campaign team for the 2024 presidential election.
“There are many professionals in the party, many experts,” said Ujang when interviewed by journalists, Thursday (19/9/2024).
He did not deny that many figures who are cadres of political parties supporting Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election have the capacity and capability in their fields.
“If you want to form a zaken cabinet, you have to take party people, but people who are experts and professionals. The campaign team is the same, looking for people who have shed blood and helped Prabowo-Gibran win must also be accommodated. Look for people who are experts, understand and have the capacity,” said Ujang.
One example of a field that can be filled by experts or professionals is the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
“Look for people with the right and suitable educational background that is connected to forestry and the environment. We must look for people with the right experience and educational background,” he continued.
Political observer Ujang Komarudin assessed that Prabowo Subianto, who will form a zaken cabinet, could choose party experts to become ministers.
