Sion obtained a draw against Lugano (0-0). At Tourbillon, in a match where there was only one shot on target(!), the Sédunois prevented the Lugano team from taking sole control of the Super League.
Mattia Croci-Torti’s men did not take many risks at Tourbillon, also hindered by a well-organized FC Sion. Both teams were mainly focused on not losing: the first – and only – shot on target was recorded in the 80th minute.
Interesting Debut of Miranchuk
Sion had their chance but lacked punch and ideas towards the end of the match. The substitution of the new playmaker Anton Miranchuk in the 60th minute may have contributed to this decline in performance.
Nonetheless, this point confirms the good start to the season for the Valais club. The promoted Sédunois are currently in 5th place with 11 points, two less than Servette and three less than the leading trio. They will try to challenge Zurich at Letzigrund next Sunday.

Young Boys finally wins
After 6 matches without a win (3 draws and 3 losses), Young Boys has finally returned to success in the Super League. In Winterthur, the reigning champions dominated the match to win 4-1. Firstly, Joël Monteiro opened the scoring for the visitors in the 32nd minute before the Zurich team equalized against the run of play 2 minutes after the break. However, the Bernese did not doubt for long, as 9 minutes later they led 3-1 thanks to Monteiro (49th) and Silvère Ganvoula (56th). Monteiro even completed his hat-trick by scoring the fourth in the 85th minute. For Winterthur, who have not won since the opening day (3 losses and 1 draw), this defeat means they are at the bottom of the table with only 4 points.
