Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued a decree forming a new government headed by Dr. Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali.
According to the Syrian Presidency, and according to the decree, the ministry in Syria is composed as follows:

President al-Assad also issued a decree appointing Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad as Vice President of the Republic, and authorizing Dr. al-Miqdad to follow up on the implementation of foreign and media policy within the framework of the President’s directives.
On September 14, the Syrian President assigned Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali to form the new government in Syria. He is from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. His appointment comes at a time when Syria is witnessing difficulties in light of the tightening of economic sanctions on Syria and the imposition of the US “Caesar” sanctions law.
