During the week, the main index of DSE DSEX increased by 8.75 points or 0.15 percent to 5 thousand 735 points. Among other indices, the DSE-30 index gained 5.69 points or 0.27 percent to 2,104 points, the DSE Shariah index gained 12.13 points or 0.97 percent to 1,257 points and the DSMEX index (SME index) gained 41.56 points. or 3.54 percent increased to 1 thousand 214 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at Tk 6 lakh 95 thousand 571 crore 62 lakh. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of DSE was Tk 6 lakh 93 thousand 329 crore 3 lakh. That is, the market capital increased by 2 thousand 242 crores 58 lakhs in a week.
2 thousand 452 crore 34 lakh taka was traded in Dhaka stock exchange in the last week. And in the week before the farewell week, the transaction was 3 thousand 221 crore 45 lakh rupees. That is, the transaction in DSE has decreased by 769 crore 10 lakh rupees in the span of a week.
A total of 396 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE in the outgoing week. Among the companies, 142 increased, 213 decreased and 42 remained unchanged. And 16 were not traded.
In the other capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the overall index of CSE CASPI increased by 51.87 points or 0.32 percent to 16 thousand 191 points. Among other indices of CSE, CSE-30 index fell by 0.21 percent to 12,984 points, CSCX rose by 0.31 percent to 9,760 points, CSI index by 0.90 percent to 1,200 points and SESMEX (SME Index) by 0.35 percent. increased to 2 thousand 521 points.
On the last working day of the outgoing week, the market capitalization stood at Tk 7 lakh 28 thousand 981 crore 42 lakh. And on the last working day of the week before the farewell week, the market capitalization of CSE was Tk 7 lakh 25 thousand 958 crore 30 lakh. in money That is, the market capital has increased by 3 thousand 23 crore 11 lakh taka in a week.
42 crore 17 lakh taka was traded in Chittagong Stock Exchange in the outgoing week. And 35 crore 54 lakh was traded in the week before the farewell week. That is, during the week, the transaction in CSE increased by 6 crore 62 lakh taka.
A total of 321 shares and units of companies were traded on CSE in the outgoing week. Among the companies, share and unit prices of 142 rose, 152 fell and 27 remained unchanged.
