On Channel A’s ‘Please Give Me Grades: Teachers’, which will air on the afternoon of the 22nd, a high school sophomore who is challenging his studies despite his parents discouraging him from doing so will appear.
According to ‘Teachers’, the challenging student was the top student in the entire school and was the ‘king of grades’ who always had the highest grades. Despite having already secured the throne, the challenging student only knew how to study. Even when it wasn’t exam period, he stayed up all night studying until 3 or 4 in the morning. Jeong Seung-je was shocked by this and said, “That’s self-abuse,” and Jeon Hyun-moo was also shocked and said, “No… That’s not right.”
The student who sleeps an average of 2 hours and 30 minutes a night was often in and out of the hospital due to stress. He was even hospitalized with a stomachache due to excessive studying. However, even after being hospitalized, the student did not put down his books and even fought with his parents who tried to stop him from studying. The student’s father said, “I have been to the hospital more than once or twice, and I have even collapsed while studying and had to be taken away in an ambulance,” and expressed his frustration with reddened eyes, saying, “It’s sad that parents can’t do it for me.”
Cho Jeong-sik said, “If you cut down on sleep, you can go to ‘SKY’,” but “It’s not college, it’s the ‘other world’. The basic desire of humans is survival, but they are refusing to survive. It’s natural for their bodies not to listen to them,” and was furious at the challenging students who did not secure enough sleep. Jeong Seung-jae also repeatedly emphasized the importance of sleep, saying, “There are times when I can’t sleep for a few days, and when I can’t sleep, I can’t solve math problems either.”
Here, Jeon Hyun-moo also shared his experience, saying, “When I was a foreign language high school student, I studied until 2 a.m. every day,” and “But I don’t know what I did until 2 a.m., and I ended up failing the college entrance exam and having to retake the exam.” He continued, “When I was retaking the exam, I doubled my sleep time. That’s when I learned things for the first time while taking classes, and I ended up succeeding in the retake exam,” and added some sincere advice, saying, “I hope you realize that you have to utilize your time properly.”
