Chief scout Markus Pilawa is apparently on the verge of leaving FC Bayern. As “Kicker” reported on Monday, the Munich bosses have decided against the 47-year-old. A separation is therefore imminent.
Pilawa joined the German record champions from Borussia Dortmund two years ago – at that time still under the leadership of former sports director Hasan Salihamidžić. According to the report, financial resources are also a reason for the separation. During his time at the club, Pilawa set up his own scouting team. However, the costs for this were not profitable, it is said.

Bayern Munich does not expect Manuel Neuer to be out for a long time. “I’m not a doctor, but that’s what everyone tells me,” said Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl after the clear 5-0 win at Werder Bremen. “Manuel Neuer stopped the warm-up. His thigh showed a slight reaction. In order not to take any risks, Sven Ulreich will replace him between the posts,” Bayern announced shortly before kick-off. “We know that we can always rely on Sven,” said Eberl after the game. “It was purely a precautionary measure with Manu. He wouldn’t tear something and then be out for eight or nine weeks. Nobody wants that.”

Thomas Müller is known for his jokes in training. In preparation for the Bundesliga match, however, the 2014 world champion unwittingly became the reason for his teammates to burst into laughter. During one of the games, Müller tripped over a taut rope that was supposed to represent the sideline.
His teammates burst into laughter, some of them kneeling on the ground because they found Müller’s stumble so amusing. The 35-year-old himself took it with humor. “At least that’s good,” he said, pointing to the club’s media team’s camera. “That’s good for the clicks.”
