Zainul Abdin Farooq, a member of BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council and former opposition chief whip, commented that Sheikh Hasina, who was deposed in the student uprising, committed robbery in the name of development.
He said this at a program in front of the National Press Club on Monday (September 23).
This member of BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council said, ‘Sheikh Hasina has done robbery, not development. Now sitting in India he is plotting. Those who have taken refuge in India, should have been handed over to the country one by one.’
‘The ghosts of Awami League misrule are scattered. They are trying to create instability. No matter how much instability Awami League creates, BNP should keep its eyes and ears open’, added Zainul Abdin Farooq.
He said, I will tell the chief advisor of the interim government to speak at the United Nations about the corruption of 16-year-old Sheikh Hasina. We are not against you, we are here to help you.
This member of BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council also mentioned that there is a need for a roadmap for all the political parties who were in the movement.
