Tan-Tan: Review of the progress of the projects of the 3rd phase of the INDH

During this meeting, chaired by the acting governor of Tan-Tan province, Abdellatif Chedali, the participants discussed the projects currently being completed as well as the obstacles hindering the implementation of certain operations.

In this context, Mohamed Mouloud Hafdi, in charge of managing the Social Action Division (DAS) in the province of Tan-Tan, reviewed the projects included in the four INDH programs, which number 116 projects worth 40,635,531 dhs, including 33,381,691 dhs as the INDH’s contribution.

Regarding the projects carried out within the framework of the program to catch up on deficits in infrastructure and basic services in under-equipped areas, four projects are reported at a cost of 671,322 dhs. The program to support people in precarious situations concerns 41 projects for an amount of 13,468,431 dhs.

The projects implemented during the period 2019-2021 benefited 2,211 people as well as centers working in the field of combating precariousness, and also made it possible to support income-generating activities for former prisoners and the purchase of a bus for the transport of disabled people.

As for the projects of the program for improving income and economic inclusion of young people, they mainly concern the youth platform project, with a budget of 507,858 dhs and which will be launched at the beginning of next year.

As for the projects of the human capital boosting program for rising generations, which places maternal and child health at the center of its interests in addition to its support for preschool education and school transportation, their number is 23 projects for an amount of 11,876,436 dhs.

The acting governor of Tan-Tan province stressed that this meeting is part of the monitoring of INDH programs with a view to consolidating the achievements of the two previous phases and so that these projects have a positive impact on the living conditions of the population.

He added that the philosophy of the 3rd phase of the INDH requires the combination of efforts, particularly with regard to interventions aimed at boosting human capital, with a view to preserving the achievements obtained during the first and second phases of this major royal project.
