Rajinikanth told that when Amitabh Bachchan started producing films, he incurred huge losses. He had a huge debt on his head.

According to ‘India Today’, Rajinikanth said, ‘He (Amitabh Bachchan) was not even able to pay his watchman. His Juhu house was about to be auctioned. The entire Bollywood was laughing at him. But Amitabh did not lose courage and worked hard to get out of that bad phase.’

Rajinikanth then also told that when Amitabh Bachchan fell ill, the former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi had come to the hospital to meet him. Then people came to know that Amitabh and Rajiv Gandhi used to study together. Talking about Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s film Vettaiyan, it will be released on October 10. Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Fasil will also be seen in the film.
