Rajinikanth is currently in the news for the film Vettaiyan, in which he will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan once again after 33 years. Recently, during the audio launch of this film, Rajinikanth recalled Amitabh’s financial difficulties, when he became bankrupt and was in huge losses. Rajinikanth told that when Amitabh Bachchan started producing films, he incurred huge losses. He had a huge debt on his head.
Amitabh’s financial crisis, Bollywood was laughing
According to ‘India Today’, Rajinikanth said, ‘He (Amitabh Bachchan) was not even able to pay his watchman. His Juhu house was about to be auctioned. The entire Bollywood was laughing at him. But Amitabh did not lose courage and worked hard to get out of that bad phase.’

Rajinikanth further said, ‘The world just waits for you to fall. In three years, he did a lot of advertisements. He earned a lot of money from ‘KBC’ and bought back his Juhu house as well as three houses on the same road. He made up for the money he lost. He is truly our inspiration. He is 82 years old and works 10 hours a day. Amitabh’s father was a great writer, but he chose a different career for himself.’

Rajinikanth then also told that when Amitabh Bachchan fell ill, the former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi had come to the hospital to meet him. Then people came to know that Amitabh and Rajiv Gandhi used to study together. Talking about Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s film Vettaiyan, it will be released on October 10. Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Fasil will also be seen in the film.
