BOLZANO. Unusual call yesterday evening (September 20) to 112, in which the Police Headquarters Operations Centre reported the presence of a person assaulted in Via Napoli.
The officers arrived on site immediately. patrols of the “Flying Squad” they contacted the applicant, who explained that he had noticed a badly parked vehicle on the side of the road, which was blocking the passage of other vehicles; annoyed by what he had seen, he turned towards the passenger of the van and let himself go with a polemical joke towards him. The passenger, having heard the words, got out of the vehicle and initially attacked the man only verbally, before proceeding to physical violence hitting him with kicks and punches.
After a few moments, according to the applicant, the driver of the vehicle arrived on the scene and, realizing what had happened, grabbed the attacker and took him back into the van before driving away.
Thanks to the description provided by the victim – treated on site by 118 personnel – the police officers managed to intercept the van after a brief search of the area.
On board there was only the driver, who explained that he worked at adelivery companythat the van was rented by the same company he worked for, and that the tasks he performed were often for individual duties, without providing further details as to what had happened shortly before.
Subsequent investigations allowed the attacker to be identified and reported to the judicial authorities.
