Bangladeshi products have got 100% duty-free access to the Chinese market. Recently, the Office of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of China has issued related instructions.
As a result, from now on, if you export any product from Bangladesh to China, you will not have to pay any kind of duty.
On September 5, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced at the opening ceremony of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit that 33 African countries, including LDC countries with diplomatic relations with China, will enjoy 100% duty-free benefits in the Chinese market.
China is the first developing country in the world to take such a decision.
In the light of this decision, the Office of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of China has recently announced that LDC countries that have diplomatic relations with China will enjoy 100 percent preferential duty-free benefits from December 1 to achieve unilateral opening up and general development in underdeveloped countries.
As an LDC, Bangladesh will also enjoy this benefit for products exported to China from December 1.
