Cesk made his WRC debut as part of the M-Sport team this year, holding rallies in Poland and Latvia, but this weekend he will compete in Chile.
“My priority is to stay in the WRC, and a lot will depend on how many cars we can drive,” said Wilson about next season. “He’s definitely one of the pilots we’ll be watching.”
At the end of June, Ceska’s crew made their WRC debut, finishing fifth in Rally Poland. In July, in the first ever WRC stage in Latvia, Sesks was seventh, losing his place on the podium only in the last stage.
After successful performance in rallies in Poland and Latvia, Sesks got the opportunity to start in Chile as well.
“I know the rally in Latvia was his home race, but he handled the pressure well. To be honest, I thought before that it was going to be his stumbling block,” Wilson said.
The rally in Chile will take place from September 26 to 29, and at the end of the season stages will be held in Germany and Japan.
